Ladies and gents, let me introduce to you my newest favorite snack. I made these last night and K and I inhaled these suckers faster than a knife fight in a phone booth. They are chili roasted chick peas, and they are a great snack or side dish (I think they’d be fantastic with some beer).
1 can chick peas (rinsed)
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
2-3 tablespoons of chili powder
1 teaspoon coarse salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix chick peas, olive oil, chili powder and salt in a small bowl. Spread chick peas onto a roasting pan and roast for about 30-35 minutes. Add lime and additional salt to taste. Eat with reckless abandon.
